Story
Hi there
As some may know, in October 2018 we lost our dear mother, and Dad his beloved wife Deb, to pancreatic cancer.
Mum was and is one of the most generous, loving and kind-hearted people that you could ever hope to meet and we miss her every day.
Mum had just turned 55 when she sadly passed away, only 33 days after diagnosis.
We are doing the Gutsy Challenge to help raise much needed funds for research into gastro-intestinal cancers, particularly pancreatic cancer, and to raise awareness of this horrible disease.
We are also doing the Gutsy Challenge in honour of Mum, in the hope that her memory lives on in our actions and that we are able to make some small contribution to finding a cure.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the GI Cancer Institute who undertake vital research into new treatments for gastro-intestinal cancers to improve outcomes for individuals that are diagnosed in the future with a gastro-intestinal cancer.
Please support us and feel free to share this page with your own family and friends!
Thank you so much
Andrew, Alexander, Sophie and Mel
